New Item April 30th 2010 We are now stocking the Roxul Comfortbatt™ in R15 and R23 and ROXUL Safe‘n’Sound™: Roxul Comfortbatt™ is a semi-rigid batt insulation designed specifically for exterior wall thermal applications. This stone wool based insulation is made from natural stone and recycled content, which gives it properties that other insulation can’t match. It’s also a green product that increases the energy efficiency of a home with higher R-values, and improves fire protection for overall comfort and safety. ROXUL Safe‘n’Sound™ is a stone wool insulation product for use in interior wall partitions of residential wood and steel stud construction where superior fire resistance and acoustical performance are required. This non-combustible, lightweight product has excellent acoustical dampening properties and it is dimensionally stable which makes it ideal for friction fit into walls, ceiling and floor applications. New Item April 30th 2010 We are now stocking Protecto Wrap’s Jiffy Seal Ice and Water Guard. ·Jiffy Seal uses a Butyl Hybrid adhesive....the competition is just rubberized asphalt.  This gives us better low temperature "bite in". ·Jiffy Seal has a 360 day UV rating....the competition has a 30 day rating. ·Jiffy Seal is a Hi Temp product (max operating temp of roof is 250 degrees)....the competition is not  (maxoperating temp of roof is 180 degrees).  This allows one SKU to be used under conventional roofing materials,   as well as metal roofing.  (Highly conductive roofing...copper...zinc, would require use of our 100% Butyl product).     ·Jiffy Seal has a recyclable split release paper.  The competition uses a silicone release paper.  Our is stronger   and reduces the waste stream.  The release paper and the box can both be recycled. ·Jiffy Seal's top film is a proprietary slip resistant surface.  The competition doesn't even rate their product for   slip resistance.  Better footing on the roof! New Info April 30th 2010 We will soon be stocking 1x4 bead board from Primelock. It is 5/8" thick, has a 3 1/8" face and is run to an edge and center bead pattern. As with all Primelock, it is primed and finger jointed and comes predominately in 16' lengths. It’s a great alternative to fir for ceilings, wainscot, and wall paneling for those who desire a painted wood surface. Stop into our showroom for some samples!
